NOW OPEN – the Ron Taylor Crouch Redbubble Shop

Selling Out or Cashing In? Why not both?

Upon retiring, I decided I needed a side hustle – selling stuff with my art on it. After much thought and research, I decided to set up a shop on Red Bubble, a global online marketplace for print-on-demand products based on user-submitted artwork and designs created by me (and other creators).

Soon you’ll be able to fill that empty spot in your heart with genuine Cat-themed household items created by artist Ron Taylor Crouch (me!). My initial group of soul enriching …things… includes t-shirts (and other clothing items, including kidswear), housewears (like coffee mugs and clocks), and a host of other objects like posters, cards, mouse pads, sofa pillows (imagine relaxing on the couch with Baxter looking over you), buttons and more.

I’ll never get rich doing this, but I like the idea of getting my art in the hands of others, especially my fans – which you are, if you’re reading this. So take a look. The holidays are fast upon us!

Summer 2023 updates

It’s been a hot summer and I haven’t gotten around to posting any updates, so just to catch you up…. I was awarded a prize at the 93rd Annual San Antonio Art League Museum Show (April 2 – June 3, 2023)! I quickly squandered all my prize money celebrating with oldest son John and his BF in Austin on the way home. Shout out to…

The tale of a stretcher

This will probably be a long drawn out shaggy dog (because cats aren’t shaggy) story but bear with me. I was reorganizing my studio, trying to improve my storage situation. These days, a large painting for me is around 40 x 60 inches, the biggest size I can easily transport. When I was much younger, I worked ridiculously large – like 4 1/2 feet by…

Art Room Small Works Show, Friday Nov. 4, 2022

I love Small Works shows (and enter them whenever I can). The holiday season will usually see a number of them and it’s a great time to pick up some little – usually very affordable – pieces. If you’ve been following me on Facebook or Instagram, you’ve seen lots of my cat-related art. Now’s your chance to add one to your collection! I’ve got three…
