Between 2000 and 2009 I embarked on a career change – going to work full-time for a Fortune 500 company, working in the IT field.  This shift meant my art career had to take a backseat while I supported my family.

While my earlier work tended to be large, paintings made during this period shifted to a smaller scale (storing big paintings is a bitch), which made the work more intimate. Much of the work I did during this time was on paper rather than canvas.
